Scope and operator
This policy applies to Master BGM, an all-in-one royalty-free music and audio toolkit for creators, including tools for preparing videos shared on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. It covers the Master BGM Android application, the Master BGM website at www.masterbgm.com, and services that link to this policy.
Master BGM does not currently require you to create an account to browse music, preview audio, use local favorites, or process videos on your device. If account features are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before those features are enabled.
Information we handle
Information you provide
If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message, such as your email address, support request, feedback, and any attachments you choose to send. We do not ask you to provide a password, payment card number, or government identification in a support request.
Information stored on your device
The app may store favorites, search history, playback history, app preferences, imported video references, thumbnails, and temporary files locally on your device. This data is used to provide app features and is not automatically sent to us as an account profile.
Technical and usage information
When the app or website connects to our catalog API, our hosting or delivery providers may receive standard technical information needed to answer a request, such as an IP address, request time, device or browser information, and error or security logs. We use this information for service operation, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and reliability.
Audio and video files
Batch video processing and audio extraction are designed to run locally on your device. Imported media is not uploaded to our servers for ordinary editing or export. The app may request catalog metadata, cover images, and audio previews from our API or approved media hosts so that you can browse and listen to available tracks.
How we use information
We use information only as needed to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the music library, audio preview, and video tools;
- respond to support requests and feedback;
- protect the service from fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and harmful traffic;
- understand reliability and performance through aggregated or technical diagnostics;
- show and measure advertising in releases where advertising is enabled; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on consent, performance of a service, legitimate interests, or legal obligations as the relevant legal basis for processing.
Retention and security
Local favorites, histories, imported media references, and temporary files remain on your device until you remove them, clear them in the app, or uninstall the app. Support correspondence and technical records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, service security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS for supported network connections and access controls for service systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How to request account and personal data deletion
To request deletion of your Master BGM account and associated personal data, email high0223@gmail.com with the subject line Account and Personal Data Deletion Request.
- Send the request from the email address associated with your account, if an account exists.
- Tell us which data or account you want deleted and include your country or region so we can apply the correct requirements.
- Do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information that is not needed to verify your request.
We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request and protect the account from unauthorized deletion. We will acknowledge a complete request within 7 days and normally complete verified deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is allowed or required by applicable law. We will notify you if an exception or delay applies.
Deleting data stored locally
You can remove local app data without contacting us: open Master BGM Settings and clear search history, playback history, and temporary files, and remove local favorites as needed. You can also uninstall the app to remove app-private local data. Files you exported to your device gallery or files you separately backed up must be deleted from those locations by you.
What deletion may not remove immediately
We may retain a limited record when necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or maintain security. Such information will be isolated and deleted or anonymized when the retention reason ends. Third-party providers, including Google, may retain information under their own policies; you may need to use their privacy controls or request channels separately.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, as well as to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise a right, contact us at high0223@gmail.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
Master BGM is intended for creators and is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when our services, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted at this same URL, and the effective date at the top will be revised. Please review this page periodically.
